Can I drink alcohol after taking Tylenol?

It`s my friend`s birthday today and tonight I`m hosting her a party at my place. It has been planned since we were young teenagers that we`d do something really special on the day we became adults, which is today. I`m a little under the weather today (of course, right?), I have body aches and a bit of a sore throat but nothing too serious. I was sick all this week so this is basically the ending of my sickness (I hope!). I took one extra strength Tylenol about fifteen minutes ago. My friends are coming at around 9/10-ish. Will it be okay to drink alcohol? It`s 7:30 as of right now. I just don`t want to be a bummer on my friend`s birthday. I want to drink and have fun, but also be feeling no pain. Should I be OK to drink?
