Disabled at an early age?

My daughter is almost 30 yrs old, she has been dianosed with MS. She can't work, the doctors advised her not to even drive. She falls, has balance problems and much weakness and numbness in lower limbs. My question is this; what does one due when they can't work anymore and they do not have enough quarters in to apply for Social Security Disability? She has 3 young children and is married. Are there any other programs out there that would help?
