I got my tongue pierced and my glands on my neck are swollen...?

Could this cause a feeling of numbness in my body? I have had my piercing for about 4, 5 days. All the other days it felt normal and fine but tonight my whole body feels numb. I'm scared that I'm going to be like this forever.
