Does Associated Content pay upfront for video game reviews?

I just wanted to know If Associated Content pays upfront for video game reviews because that is what I am really good at and It would be a bummer If I wouldn't get upfront payment for something I'm so good at. Someone told me that they only pay for the views you get from the review, and that there's no sort of upfront payment involved in writing video game reviews, in which case I guess I'd have to find something else to write about on there then eh?
