Drafting tips in "MLB 11 The Show"?

Does anyone have any tips or know of any guides that have stuff about drafting in franchise mode? Not a fantasy draft, the amateur draft. It always seems like whenever my picks come up, there aren't any players that have been scouted yet. Should I tell my scouts specifically who to draft, or just set the scouting focus?
