Am I pregnant? Please help!?

Hi! So I'm really starting to think that maybe I'm pregnant. A few days ago I got sick with some flu-like symptoms. Then, my period started two weeks early! I was a little annoyed because my period never starts early, and it always last for seven days so it was kind of a bummer. However, I didn't think anything about being pregnant until today. Today, my period ended early. So it lasted for about three days. So that made me think that maybe I was spotting! However, when I was on my period it was heavy. Could that just be heavy spotting? I have an appointment at Planned Parenthood today to get some birth control (my mom wants me on it) but now I'm worried that maybe I am pregnant, and the birth control might harm the baby. So I was just wondering if you guys think I might be pregnant. Please help!!
